Senior Support Analyst - Salary £30k + Car Allowance + Benefits STRICTLY NO RECRUITMENT AGENCIES We are a leading, fast growing, North West based IT Support and Hosted Services Company and are passionate about delivering the very best support and services to our clients. This role is for an experienced Senior Support Analyst. The successful candidate will be part of a team supporting our diverse client base in a predominantly Microsoft environment. You will undertake client site project work and provide office based support to offsite users. Additional responsibilities will include mentoring junior staff. Experience will be considered equally as important as qualifications and any of the following will be beneficial if backed up by the relevant experience:
Detailed knowledge of some of the following is desirable: DESKTOP Microsoft Office XP, Microsoft Office 2003, Microsoft Office 2007. MS Windows 2000/XP/Vista/7, Desktop and Laptop hardware, Microsoft Visual Basic and Visual Studio,Windows Scripting (VB Script and cmd/basic based). SERVER MS Windows 2003/2008 OS's. MS Exchange 2003/2007, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, Microsoft Exchange 2003, Microsoft Exchange 2007, Microsoft SQL 2000-2005, Terminal Services, Remote Web Workplace, VPN connectivity, Security and penetration testing, Web server functionality (IIS & Apache), Double Take, Disaster Recovery solutions, Virtualisation technologies such as VMWare workstation and ESXi, Microsoft Virtual Server and Virtual PC, Symantec Backup Exec, Sophos Anti Virus, Symantec Anti Virus, McAfee Anti Virus (and EPO), Server hardware, RAID, SAN, iSCSI.
